New York day 3

I'm going to write in english and see how it feels, so today after breakfast we had class from 9 to noon. First period we talkt about what it would be like to start in High School. So we watched a bit of the movie Mean Girls and then we discussed the expectations we had and how it was going to be diffrent from school at home. It made me a little scared when the first thing Terri said after she'd turned the movie off was that it's exactly like that in High School.
Second period we talked about how it would be like to live in a host family. We discussed things like what we thought would be most challenging, and what things that will be diffrent and what to expect and things like that. It feels good that we have talked it all through.
After lunch we played American football! We made it more simple and no gear and things like that. It was fun but I still don't really get the rules, haha.
From todays lunch we started to eat in another dining hall, it was alot better, with much more salad and diffrent kinds of pasta and ice cream =)
After dinner we first took the bus and then the train with Terri and Fredrik to Brooklyn bridge, we walked over the bridge and then we went back but it took lot of time since we're like a group of 40.

Today has been crazy hot! It must have been 104 degrees or more at noon and when we came to Brooklyn Bridge at 8pm it was 85 degrees! When we were going back to campus and we were waiting on the bus a girl passed out, she was dehydrated. She fell and she just didn't wake up. I just hope she'll be allright! We wanted to get a ambulance for her but they took her in a cab, and later Terri explained that they didn't take an ambulance couse it expensive. That is one thing that I think is strange. Every one, money or no money, has a right to good health care. I mean when I was bitten by a dog when I was younger they drove me in a ambulance to the hospital even tho I didn't need stitches.
Finally I took som pictures ;)

This is when I was walking around campus today with
Emma Nilsson, Sanna Penton and Amanda Speks!
